My aunt told me about this place quite some time ago. Being a big fan of pork, I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now (Just couldn't find the time). Anyway, do look at the map below if its your first time to Sanbanto or you'll almost never find the place. Parking here solely depends on the time, day and of course luck.

The Pork Belly Salad (RM13) was a rather generous portion. Taste wise, it was pretty good as well. The pork belly was a little hard though.

The Pork Chop (RM28) was served with a grilled corn, some fries and a apple sauce. The pork wasn't cooked properly through. The part towards the bone was slightly under, and the other part of it were overcooked (It is very difficult to cook pork on the bone correctly and they certainly screwed it up). Meat was dry. Seasoning was alright.

Frankly, I couldn't be bothered whether the pasta (RM17) was home-made or store bought if the only thing I could taste in the dish is salt. A plate of this pasta would certainly take up your daily recommended dose of salt man. I told them to take it back to redo it (which they so graciously did, but somehow brought out another plate tasting the same). In the end, we just left 3/4 of the pasta there and left.

All in all, no revisit for me. Food wasn't cooked properly. Then again, I'm currently in the UK where such things do not happen so my standards are probably higher. Even then, FOR MALAYSIAN STANDARD as someone I know usually puts it, this was probably below.

What a disappointing experience! I've tried their sister restaurant calld The Pork Place in Puchong and the pork burger there wasn't bad. And I hate it when the dish is overly sweet or salty too!
